Digging

I tend to get obsessed with things, so here are a few plugs for things I’m totally digging right now:

Comics:

  • Hawkeye - These are the stories of what Hawkeye does when he’s not being an Avenger. Easily the best book on the shelves every month.
  • Daredevil vol 3 - Mark Waid and Paolo Rivera have taken a character I never had any interest in and turned him into one of my favorite heroes ever. There’s something old school, yet extremely modern about their portrayal of Matt Murdoch and his alter ego, Daredevil. 
  • All New X-Men - Excellent ‘jumping on point’ if you’ve ever wanted to read an X book. Beautiful drawn, backed with a solid story and characters you’ll love to read.
  • Superior Spiderman - It’s got Peter Parker, Doc Oc and Spiderman, but everyone isn’t who you think they should be. Check it out, you might dig it, I do.
  • Saga - An epic story coupled with beautiful art. I can’t really do the story justice by trying to explain. You’ll just have to trust me on this one.
  • High Crimes - With my new obsession with mountaineering, this was a no brainer.

  • The Basketball Jones - Covering the everything NBA. Funny guys, good insights.
  • Talking Comics - Covering comic news and industry hot topics. With four hosts you get a good mix of opinion and experience.
  • The Dirtbag Diaries - Imagine a digital campfire. Awesome stories from climbers, skiers, kayakers, and adventurers of all kinds
  • EnormoCast - Laid back rock climbing podcast, where interesting climbers tell interesting stories and shoot the shit with the host, Chris.
  • PW Torch - Top notch industry analysis on the crazy world of pro wrestling. The Torch has been in business for over 20 years. Wade and his team are the best at what they do.
  • Roderick on the Line - Merlin Mann and John Roderick talk about everything from Ping Pong and Nazis to music and Seattle. Hilarious.
